WHS/OHS for Managers and Supervisors training

WHS/OHS training for Managers & Supervisors is critical to ensure those with management responsibilities have a high level of knowledge and practical skills to ensure the provision of a safe and healthy work environment.

This course focuses on the understanding WHS/OHS legislation and the importance of applying the risk management process and consultation activities. On completion of this course, participants will have an understanding of:

  • WHS/OHS Key Statistics from Safe Work Australia.
  • WHS/OHS legislation, including regulations, key terminology and definitions.
  • The roles and responsibilities in providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
  • The risk management process, including identifying hazards, assessing risk, implementing risk controls and ensuring monitoring and review mechanisms.
  • The duty to consult, and the key role consultation, co-operation and communication plays in achieving the best safety outcomes.
  • Case studies and strategies to utilise in your workplace to ensure legal compliance and a proactive safety culture.

COURSE DURATION

Half Day Course

All courses (with the exception of WorkSafe approved courses) can be customised according to the specific requirements and objectives of your organisation, and can be delivered by our experienced and dynamic trainers either in person or online via Zoom. 

All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
