WHS/OHS Due Diligence (Officers and Managers) training
Senior Managers and Officers have a duty to understand the nature and operations of the business and to keep up to date with WHS matters including physical and psychosocial hazards and risks in the workplace.
The course is aimed at people who have legal requirements to be duly diligent for Work Health & Safety within the workplace. The course covers legislative responsibilities and how to effectively exercise a positive duty of care to ensure the safety of workers and others.
Learning outcomes of this course include:
- What is Due Diligence and how to contextualise within your workplace.
- Understand key elements of relevant safety legislation including Risk Management and Consultation.
- Develop Due Diligence activities relevant to workplace.
- How to demonstrate Due Diligence within your WHS framework.
- Examine Due Diligence via real-life case studies.
- Understand the importance of safety leadership to create a robust and proactive safety culture.
COURSE DURATION
Half Day Course
All courses (with the exception of WorkSafe approved courses) can be customised according to the specific requirements and objectives of your organisation, and can be delivered by our experienced and dynamic trainers either in person or online via Zoom.
All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
