Kylee Brehaut

Kylee has been a Work Health and Safety (WHS) professional for the last 18 years, spending the majority of her career, prior to becoming an WHS Consultant, in the healthcare and community services sectors.

Prior to working as an WHS professional, she spent almost 20 years working in the community services sector, specialising in providing services to people living with disability, particularly those who displayed behaviours of concern. This work led to a specific interest early in her career in preventing and minimising the impact of occupational violence and aggression.

Kylee spent several years honing her practical WHS skills and knowledge in the healthcare sector, holding various positions including WHS Advisor, WHS Manager and Associate Director WHS and Emergency Management. At the centre of all these roles was an innate ability to communicate and connect with all stakeholders within the workplace, ensuring a co-designed approach to solving safety problems.

A natural career focus and interest for Kylee has been the increasing prevalence of psychosocial hazards within the workplace, and this interest led to specialist consulting and training roles centred around occupational violence &aggression, and associated psychosocial hazards and risks, for a wide range of industries including:

  • Emergency services
  • Healthcare, Aged Care and Community Services
  • Federal and State Government agencies
  • Local Government
  • Sporting industry
  • Public transport
  • Aviation
  • Energy industry

Kylee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role with DSTS and looks forward to partnering with your workforce to achieve outstanding, tangible and sustainable WHS outcomes.
